Y’all know I think Gritty is hilarious, but I just want to to take a minute to reminisce about the Montgomery Biscuits. As someone who pretty much grew up only 15 miles outside Montgomery, AL (from ages 4-14), when the town started it’s own Minor League Baseball team (the year I moved to TN) I assumed it to be a joke when they announced “Biscuits” for the team name. Nope, it’s legit. Not only do they have a terrifying anthropomorphic Biscuit in their logo, but there is also the official mascot Big Mo who is a biscuit loving anteater? Yeah, I don’t know…
