faith and alice;  faith would hold alice – it doesn’t matter what she was crying about, whatever upset her – she would hold alice, and then, after she was asleep, slip outside and debate sending one of her priestesses to take care of whatever/whoever upset alice. she wouldn’t – she knows that alice would not like that – but she thinks about it.

jess and alice; they both would, though for jess, it would more be alice holding her after jess tries to beat up a tree

stella and staci; staci wouldn’t let go of stella – he will hold her until her tears stop, until she falls asleep in his arms.

Just because of the bliss apparitions, I’m going to say Faith. I can see her being a little (…a lot?) possessive, too, so it would fit. Alice is very much of the mindset that if she was to die while in a relationship, she’d want the other to move on and find another person to be happy with, so it def wouldn’t be her

9: Who would write long, beautiful poems for the other.

Both of them would try, but neither are good at poetry, so it’s an emphasis on try.

Faith lol – I’ve said it before buuut she thinks it’s adorable when Alice blushes. Alice will kiss Faith on the nose as well, but Faith will just smile at her and kiss her on the mouth.

Alice is smol. Let’s just go with that haha

During the game? They both will. They both want to believe that there’s a way for this to end well, for them to be able to be together, that they’ll win the other over to their side. After? Alice. Faith’s so terrified of, well, everything – Tracey hates her, she can’t go back to the Project, all of the resistance hates her (minus Sharky and Hurk, which isn’t too reassuring for her)… Alice has to calm her down a lot, tell her that they are together, they are safe, and even if the resistance doesn’t like her, they won’t hurt Faith.

I haven’t decided? Likely in their cabin.

Alice. She’ll bury her face in Faith’s shoulder, and try to distract her so she can taste whatever is being made.

Faith – Alice usually will just complain about any injury, but the more insignificant it is, the more she complains, so Faith will give her a Look™ and sit her down as soon as Alice says something 

Who cuddles up to the other on the couch?

They both do – they’re a very cuddly couple~ Faith likes how calm those moments are, and Alice likes how she’s able to forget about everything outside the cabin (or her living room, if it’s after the game) when she’s cuddling with Faith.

How do they hold each other when their partner asks to be held?

They’ll wrap their arms around the other, holding them tight. Alice will pull Faith down, so her face is in the crook of her neck, and Faith will stroke Alice’s cheek, then pull her close.

Who picks up the other fireman style in a playful way?

Neither of them lol – they’ll both try, but it won’t end well

Who brings the blanket to wrap them both up in it?

Alice – she’ll always be half-asleep, and it will usually end up with her asleep on Faith’s shoulder.

Who falls asleep on who? What is their reaction when the other falls sleep on them?

They both will. Alice will fall asleep on Faith’s shoulder, or with her head in her lap, and Faith will just smile and pull a blanket over her if one is close. Alice would squirm her away out of Faith’s arms (if she didn’t fall asleep literally on Alice), and find a warm blanket for them before snuggling back up to her and falling asleep herself.

Who likes to be held and who likes to hold?

They both like to do both, but usually, Faith likes to hold Alice.

If you had to change the pairing’s very first meeting, how would you change it?

i would maybe make it so they met at the bbq – they do have casual encounters before the helicopter crash, but nothing that would really signal that their relationship would end up being what it did. their first real interaction was after the crash, on alice’s first trip into the henbane.

uh, happy ones? lol. a little one that i just came up with: alice needs glasses desperately. like, she had an appointment to get her eyes checked out for just a few days after the helicopter crash. sometimes, when she’s with faith in their cabin, and they are warm and safe? faith will take the book alice is trying to read, and read it to her while they’re sitting together.

(….that definitely is more of a prompt idea oops)

like, in-game? the times faith pops up to talk to the deputy, before she gets nasty.

The final battle – you can see how i twisted it last night oooops. No matter what, it’s not happy.

Favorite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics?

for the main story – it’s also what makes them so difficult to write. alice is so determined to help the resistance, so determined to save hope county – but she’s also totally and completely in love with faith. faith is the same – she wants alice to join the project, to be safe with her in the new eden, but she knows that will never happen.

Least favorite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics? (Can be headcannon)

as a writer – how easily the relationship could slip into something squicky and super unhealthy. i want them to be in as healthy of a relationship as they can be, given the situation, which is why it takes so freaking long to write happy stuff for them lol. 

If they aren’t a canon pairing, how would you get them together?

i hope to write this at some point? it’s pretty much the two of them talking more and more as alice explores the henbane – alice because she’s bored when she’s alone, and doesn’t think that faith is actually there, faith because, at first, she was under orders to convert the deputy, and then she realised how friendly alice is.

maybe gta v? i can see alice getting along with michael, honestly.

1000000. I can’t draw, and I said earlier why they’re trickey to write – headcanons? sure, easy. but anything detailed, or involved their relationship developing? eeeeeeeep.

honestly like 99% of the pairings in this fandom are better lol

alice – faith wouldn’t give up hope that she could convert her, but alice knows from the start that there’s really only two ways the relationship could go: faith stepping down, hiding with the resistance, or them fighting on opposite sides.

okay i’m having major issues figuring out what relatable means in this context so if someone wants to let me know so i can answer

Did you once/ever dislike one/both of them?

…nope. Alice is my baby, and I’ve loved Faith since the first time I saw her (and actually noticed her lol – the first time i played the opening sequence i was too focused on joseph to actually notice any of the other seeds)

too many. but at the same time – nowhere near enough.

What made you decide to ship them?

….It kinda just happened ooops. From the start, I knew that the two would flirt, but then suddenly.. they were together.

Favorite genre for them? (Angst, fluff, etc.)

I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE FLUFF BUT. i’m good at angst.

i mean if someone else was writing it it would 100% fluff because they are super fucking cute together i’m just a shit writer lol

  • Who gets excited about Halloween in July: Alice. 100%.
  • Who starts wearing sweaters and scarves on the first day of September and completely overheats: Alice, again lol. 
  • Who thrives in Fall/Who prefers Summer and warm weather: Alice would like to think she thrives in the fall, but it’s definitely an adjustment. Faith loves it.
  • Who thinks the other looks so cute when they’re cold and trying to fight it with 50 sweaters: They both think the other is adorable ❤
  • Who offers the other their jacket: Faith refuses to wear a jacket until it’s below freezing, and Alice always thinks it’s going to get her sick. If they’re out together, Alice will try and have a spare coat for her that she “accidentally” brought.
  • Who doesn’t want to get out of bed in the morning because it’s too cold and has to run from the warm covers to the shower: Alice. She does it all year.
  • Who touches the other with their freezing cold feet at night: Faith lol. She thinks Alice’s face is hilarious.
  • Who makes the hot cider to snuggle under a blanket and drink: Alice 100% (there may be a little bit of alcohol in there. maybe. hey, they’re not going anywhere!)

  • Who is terrible at carving pumpkins: Well, Alice desperately needs to get glasses, so 
  • Who thinks pulling the pumpkin guts out with their hands is icky: Faith doesn’t think that pulling out the pumpkin guts is icky. What she does think is icky is when Alice “““accidentally”““ throws them at her.
  • What is their favourite Fall activity: If they were able to go on hay rides? 100% a hay ride. Or just walking around a pumpkin patch!
  • Who gets scared when they watch Horror movies: Alice. Faith is surprisingly good with horror movies.
  • Who hands out candy to trick-or-treaters: Both of them! They’ll either take turns, or open the door together.
  • Who accidentally scares the kids: Faith, probably
  • Who suggested the couples costume: ….Sharky. Or Hurk. Alice can’t remember – it was one of them!
  • What is their couples costume: Alice wants to do something geeky, and Faith is somewhat relucant, but eventually she talks her into being Poison Ivy and Harley (another year they are Grant & Ellie from Jurassic Park, she tries to get Faith to be Korra and Asami)
  • Worst Halloween: I was going to say just for Alice, but Faith was pretty worried too – this (2018) Halloween, because that’s the day after Alice comes back from Jacob, and she’s stuck in bed for all of it. Faith is worried about her, so she pops in and talks to her – but neither of them really remember that it’s Halloween.
  • Who eats too much candy and ends up sick the next day: Alice lol – Faith tries to stop her, realises Alice isn’t going to listen, and then sits there and watches.

I have an angst headcanon about faith/Alice that Faith just wants to forget everything that she’s done, especially after she’s out of herald mode (if that happens in your canon idk lol), but that Alice just can’t, and sometimes it overwhelms her and she slips and treats Faith like a monster :)

sometimes alice does forget – but she tries so hard to treat all of the seeds differently after the end of the game (because lbh alice wouldn’t kill them unless she absolutely had to, and she ends up arresting all of them so they can actually face proper punishment for what they did) and sometimes she has nightmares of faith being a herald again, and of faith hurting the people she loves again, maybe hurting her – but she tries as hard as she can to not let that affect how she treats faith (but faith can always tell – alice is more guarded, less talkative, she doesn’t want to be touched)
