8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

there’s a lot of things, but the first thing i thought of – we both hate flying the same amount lmao. I’m more willing to fly than she is, but our reactions to being forced to fly would be exactly the same (…assuming i had any knowledge of how to fly a plane)

a little thing: there was once a time when alice was a kid that she was walking in the lake and a fish bit her toe. for me? that stopped me from going in the water any more than necessary (which was unfortunate, as i lived on an island…). For alice? caleb teased her until she went back in and she got over her fear.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

i don’t think this is exactly what the question means, but alice’s reactions to jacob in the entirety of ‘meeting the family’ still make me laugh – she’s just so awkward

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

she meticulously keeps up with her pink hair even at the height of all the bullshit lmao – it’s the one thing she can control, particularly when she offers her house up to people who need a place to stay (usually grace, jess, and mary may)

εїз : How does your muse feel about bugs and insects?

alice… she has a very neutral relationship with them. if they aren’t in her space, she doesn’t care. in her space? she tries to get them out of her space.

if she’s not expecting them, she might squeak/scream, but usually she’s pretty chill. that isn’t to say she likes them, but… usually pretty chill.

11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

It depends on the context of what she’s confused about – small talk? eh, she brushes it off, acts like she knows what they’re talking about, something important/work-related? Usually she will try and clear up the confusion.

12. How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

If Alice is at home, she has a back scratcher that her brother bought her as a joke, but she actually uses. Most of the time, though, she’ll try and contort herself to be able to reach it, either with her hand or a book/her phone/anything nearby.

26.  What is their preferred mode of transportation?

Really? She likes trains. Or buses. Or anything that means she isn’t driving. For cars specifically? She had a little Mini Cooper that she sold just after moving to Hope County – it was the perfect size for her to be comfortable driving, just… Not practical for Montana winters. She drives her dad’s old truck now – a early 90′s pickup. It’s not her favorite thing to drive (she thinks it drives like a tank), but… It works. And has the nostalgia factor.

alice (this turned into a pre-hope county trivia thing)

her aunt was diana – she died just before alice graduated high school, and worked as a personal assistant to a politician in the city.

her aunt is why she’s so interested in politics – diana encouraged her to always be involved and know what was going on in the world

one of her favorite memories of her old friend group (before the big falling out) was going down to SDCC before it got ridiculously huge.

elizabeth:

she fell in love with riding horses right after she was found by her family – it was how they helped integrate her into the family and get her used to them

she really hates john lmao – he’s the only one of the seeds she has such an absolute hatred for. he’s been threatening her horses and her ranch for years, pretty much since she moved to hope county. she may grudgingly help the cult, but as soon as the war starts, she turns sides and helps the resistance. 

elizabeth’s family is into some very shady business – it’s part of the reason she moved to hope county, to get away from it.

stella:

she thinks it’s hilarious how terrified pratt is of her chickens

her cousin works with alice, and is one of the cult sympathizers in the department. she hates him.

she took up woodcarving shortly before the helicopter crash – eventually, she takes up chainsaw carving

by the time of the wedding fic, she’s in a ~thing with eli

her kids live with their dad during the war – erin spends most of her time at the county jail, and she knows its safer in fall’s end

erin loves painting! she’s turned the sun porch of her cottage into a painting studio

  • alice somehow didn’t meet skylar till after the helicopter crash – they get on famously once they meet, and skylar keeps in contact after she leaves and communications come back up
  • her favorite show is golden girls! 😀
  • her uncle’s name is thomas! he has a cooking show on tv and has been a fairly successful chef for a few years
