why did neji of all people need to die when the narrative clearly shamed hiashi and the main house for its treatment of the branch family and framed hizashis death as a cruel tragedy like for that conflict to have a meaningful resolution hiashi should’ve died saving neji to show his remorse and set the stage for the younger generation (hinata and neji) to put an end to the branding/branches and make things right. fuck kishimoto i love neji
