If you are gonna leave an unsolicited, negative commentary on my creation as a comment, a reblog, or in tags; chances are, I’ll delete the comment and block you without warning. Creators don’t make things for you, we make them for ourselves and we share them with you. We do not have neither the time nor the inclination to listen to insipid, trite blubberings about why something is wrong or why you hate it. Don’t like something? Don’t reblog, don’t comment, move on. Quite frankly, your “piping hot tea” is nothing to write home to mumsy about.
Frankly speaking, it’s annoying to open your activity page and see tags like these “omfg I fucking hate [insert a fatuous, inane nickname people have assigned to a character because they dislike them despite that nickname in no shape or form reflecting the character themselves] #they can choke #OP can choke too for including them #but the rest of this is pretty valid tbh”. This isn’t ‘constructive criticism’ or whatever that lot thinks they doing when they leave broadsides like that. That is just unnecessary and a hundred percent unhelpful. You don’t like something? Make a separate post on your own blog, instead of engaging the creator with a commentary they definitely will not appreciate.
Creations aren’t made by The Void, they aren’t produced in a factory by emotionless robots. They’re made by people, who decided to share something they’ve made with you. So don’t be a dick to creators.
