One of my commissions from @leavenopathuntaken has arrived, and there are tears in my eyes. Look at my kids! Look at them!! Look at their faces, their EYES. His are shut as he savors one of the precious few moments of peace they have, and hers are fixed on him, the focus of every ounce of her attention. Look at her freckles!

Look at their fingers, the first two wrapped together like two links of a chain…

I couldn’t possibly ask for anything more in the world. This went above and beyond my expectations. I’m so, so grateful.
