ABC7 Reporter Veronica Miracle was reporting on the Woolsey Fire in Ventura County when firefighters rescued this kitty that we’ve named “Miracle”. The firefighters gave the cat to Veronica and her team so they could keep fighting the wildfires. Veronica and her team were able to find an emergency vet and the cat is now in the ICU in fair condition. The burns were to his legs but his fur kept him from being in worse condition.
The vet bill is going to cost over $4,000 and the family who owns the cat lost their home in the fires. We can be a bright spot in this terrible fire season by raising the money needed to pay for the cat’s medical bills. Anything extra will be donated to the family who lost their home and own this cat.
