imagine what antis could get done if they took their rage towards properly tagged fics on ao3 and channeled it into advocating for better content warnings on other media – such as films, shows, and published books – which have a much wider audience than fanfic and either shitty or nonexistent content warning systems, meaning more people are likely to be surprised and triggered by the content in them unlike with fic where you’re EXPLICITLY warned about the triggering material the story contains before you can even scroll down to see it.
