now that im in college i am 1000% sure that american high schools are run wrong and totally drain the youth of america. like there is LITERALLY no reason for them to have that strict of a timetable, for kids to be at school for 8, 9 even 10 hours, to take the vast majority of the day from them, to not give them any time to study on their own. college/university is a unique, independent and BETTER institution because really? i only spend like 2-4 hours a day in class. however i am spending MOST of my day reading, writing, and studying. it helps you build your intellectual thinking skills, independence, lets you decide your own schedule and see the sunlight. high schools/lower formal education is evil and should be changed.
