Just because your work isn’t popular doesn’t mean it’s not important. Just because you feel invisible doesn’t mean you are. Even if it’s only to your friends, you’re visible. Even if they’re the only ones who read it right now, your work is important. I’m sorry you feel that way and it sucks, but your writing isn’t about popularity. Your writing is because you have universes exploding inside you, forcing their way out through your fingertips. Create your own fandoms and fill it with those who love you. And if you’re feeling invisible, reach out to a friend who can let you know that they see you. They see you writing. And they care.
